A Bit About Me...
While I have always loved art and creative projects, school has never been easy for me. I have Dyslexia which makes learning by traditional methods tough. Luckily, I discovered polymer clay when my Grade 8 school year got sidetracked from Covid 19. I can be found working on different ideas and designs in my studio at all hours of the day and night!
I enjoy creating and selling my earrings and interacting with my customers, and am keen to help make a difference. Every few months I make a donation to an organization that is important to me.
December 2020 - New Hope Children's Centre in Kenya, with hopes of helping give more kids the chance to go to school.
Spring 2021 - Campership at Healthy Hearts Healthy Minds, an organization that has provided me with many great memories.
July 1st, 2021 - Indian Residential School Survivor Society. Thank you to all of you who purchased earrings that day.
September 2021 - I started sponsoring a teenager in Kenya so that he can attend highschool. When my family travelled to Kenya in early 2020 we met this boys family and learned that highschool fees make it impossible for many kids to continue their education and to have a chance of breaking out of the cycle of poverty.
December 2021 - New Hope Children's centre in Kenya. My visit there made me realize just how far our money can go to helping feed, shelter, and provide education for orphaned children.
August 2022 - Water First, an organization that trains young, Indigenous adults to become certified water operators and environmental technicians.
March 2023 - HOWE SOUND WOMEN'S CENTRE - a local organization dedicated to preventing violence against women and supporting women and children impacted by violence or abuse.
August 2023 - West Kelowna Firefighters Disaster Relief Fund.
I am grateful for everyone's support as I continue to pursue my passion and share my work.
